[Libs-Or] Statewide Database Licensing Advisory Committee report now available

The Statewide Database Licensing Advisory Committee (SDLAC) has released its annual report<https://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/technology/sdlp/SDLAC%202018%20Annual%20Report_final.pdf>. The report highlights usage statistics of the resources in the Statewide Database Licensing Program<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/SDLP_FAQ> from the previous year and well as committee activities.

Highlights from the previous year include the evaluation of database proposals resulting in a new contract with Gale/Cengage, which started on Aug. 1, 2018. In addition to the 22 databases currently offered, two additional databases, Books & Authors and LitFinder<http://www.galepages.com/oregon_sl> were added to the program. There was also a substantial update to the currency of the ebook reference titles<https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qMbd1HCx1aLMZlV4mh2VWOcTC5BbRgGvgKmH9CTeY90> available from Gale Virtual Reference Library
(GVRL).
