Fort Vancouver Regional Library District is currently recruiting Branch
Managers. Our Branch Managers are involved in the day-to-day operations of
the branch and serve as the face of the library district in their
communities. They provide leadership for and manage staff operations.
Branch Managers provide a full range of patron assistance; support, plan
and implement programs; and oversee the collections of the branch and its
outlets. The position represents the branch and library district in the
assigned communities, building and sustaining positive community
relationships.

The community, staff size and facility of each of our openings varies. We

To be considered for these openings, candidates must have:

   - Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA
   accredited program or ability to obtain a Washington State certification
   upon hire.
   - Three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience, with customer
   service experience.
   - Two (2) to five (5) years of supervisory experience, with experience
   managing people and/or projects.
