Hi Dan,
Washington County libraries use the type of tags you are describing on our disc media; we call them Stingray tags. We’ve never used an applicator of any kind since the tags are simple to apply as others have already commented. You just need a flat surface and a steady hand!

Subject: [Libs-Or] RFID addendum from seaside

Hello, again:

To be clear, Seaside will be applying the RFID detectors which cover the entirety of the CDs and DVDs.

My choice of words were inaccurate in that they are not tattle-tags. The alarm devices match the size of the disc.

Do any libraries use this particular sized tag? The ones that cover the whole disc?

If so, do you use applicators?

And, finally, can anyone recommend a specific product/model number?

Please and thank you, again.
