 Western Oregon University seeks a service-oriented, resourceful person to
serve as our Evening Service & Stacks Assistant. a union-represented
Library Technician 3. Responsibilities include: assisting library patrons
and directing operations, student employees, and security during evening
hours; ensuring the professional presentation and quick turnaround of
physical collections; and maintenance of the circulating equipment
collection. This position primarily works a Sunday-Thursday schedule, 3
p.m.-midnight, with alternate schedules at the end of regular terms and
during summer term and intersessions. Qualified candidates must have strong
interpersonal skills, a commitment to a diverse academic community, and the
capacity for successful independent work.
