An update:
Yesterday the ALA Executive Board voted to authorize an electronic vote by
Council on the Resolution to Rescind Meeting Rooms: an interpretation of
the Library Bill of Rights (17-2019 ALA CD#19.6_62617_act).
Thank you to all those that gave feedback on the resolution
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MgPDhl9necX7JIYy39rzLa22fsxMmmy3tDif5s8_V2U/edit>.
As your chapter councilor, I gladly signed the resolution as the
wording/inclusion of "hate groups" was not in the draft of the proposed
interpretations.
I continue to be welcome to hearing your thoughts on this.
All the best,
Danielle Jones
