Advocacy
means so much more than just lobbying the government or our elected
representatives. The Pacific Northwest is full of stories of librarians who
have advocated for themselves, their patrons, their libraries, their
profession, and their professional values. Our conference will focus on the
full spectrum of advocacy work and how each of us can be better advocates
when we work to influence decisions at any level. Attendees will leave the
Conference with a concrete plan to advocate for an issue important to them.
