I'm writing as a member of the search committee for a great position here at NC State University Libraries: Research Librarian for Engineering & Biotechnology. For candidates with preferred management experience and interest, appointment at the Associate Head level may be considered. We would be grateful for your help in identifying and nominating qualified candidates for both the non-supervisory and supervisory role.


We are looking for someone who has the ability to engage deeply with engineering and biotechnology researchers and students at all levels, and support research activities across the university. This position will be primarily responsible for liaising with the College of Engineering, the Biotechnology Program, and other affinity STEM departments, and, in collaboration with our team, plans and delivers innovative, responsive library services to faculty and students in those disciplines.
