WCCLS is hiring a Community Library Supervisor!

The West Slope Community Library is a cozy 6,000 sq. ft. library situated on the grounds of Raleigh Park Elementary School. West Slope is the only library within Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) that is operated directly by the County. West Slope boasts a loyal patron base with strong circulation numbers and a dedicated staff of 5 full-time and 4 part-time employees, as well as 50-55 weekly volunteers contributing nearly 100 hours of service each week.

As Community Library Supervisor, you are responsible for the strategic direction of the library, community engagement, relationships with the Library Advisory Board and an active Friends group. You also manage library operations, including staffing, the facility, and an annual budget of $1.4 million. You will participate with WCCLS member library directors on WCCLS’ Policy Group Committee, and report directly to the Manager of WCCLS, a department of Washington County.
