Blue Mountain Community College, located in Pendleton, OR is recruiting for Director, Library and Media Services.

Position Summary:  Director of Library and Media Services is responsible for strategic planning, policy formulation and implementation, budget development, and oversight, personnel management and facilities management of the Library and Learning Commons.  Provides leadership to library staff in implementation and delivery of student-centered library initiatives in a comprehensive community college. Serves primary role in library instruction program, and guides all public service, collection, and outreach functions.  Participates in institutional governance. Represents library in library consortia and professional organizations. Serves as director of the Learning Commons, including oversight of the physical space and academic tutors. Performs all functions and activities within the guidelines and philosophy set forth in the BMCC Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan.  Conforms to the guiding principles of the college culture.

This is an 11-month position, September - July - 40 hours per week

Salary Range: $68,000 - $80,000 DOE
