Position Summary:
Incumbents in the Systems and Operations Librarian position carry out various system-wide marketing responsibilities related to the print, online, and social media presence of the Library. Some responsibilities include the development and daily implementation of the Library marketing and social media plan. The position uses diverse software and technology to generate the majority of the Library's marketing presence. Incumbents also provide system-wide event and outreach support for all ages.

Additional Librarian responsibilities include providing reference services to patrons in multiple formats in order to meet the Library's mission of "Enrich. Excite. Explore." This position also develops and manages library collections as well as contributes to maintaining the online and virtual services for the library. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.

Bachelor's degree required and completion of at least 80% of Master's in Library Science Program from an accredited ALA-program, with degree to be completed by the end of six months employment. Experience with photography, graphic design and Adobe Creative Cloud strongly encouraged. Considerable knowledge of Library reference methods and resources. Ability to pass a background check and/or a criminal history check. Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid Oregon Drivers License.
