Greetings!

The Association of Rural and Small Libraries is offering five scholarships for this year's annual ARSL Conference<https://arsl.info/2020-conference-main-page/> in Wichita, Kansas. Please see below and note: these are separate from the scholarships that will be offered by the State Library of Oregon (more information about those coming soon!)

The applications for the 2020 ARSL Fall Conference Scholarships are now open on the ARSL website. Click here<https://arsl.info/2019-conference-news/arsl-scholarships/> to get to the application page on the ARSL website and then click the name of the scholarship that interests you to get to the application.

The application deadline has been extended to Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 5:00 pm CT (3:00 pm PT).

There are three different applications with differing eligibility requirements so be sure to read over the criteria before you apply.

These scholarships are for first time attendees ONLY so anyone who has NOT previously attended an ARSL conference is invited to apply.

This year, five scholarships will be awarded by ARSL:

* The Dr. Bernard Vavrek scholarship is for current library school students.

* The Founders scholarship is for current ARSL members who have been working in in the library profession for 5 years or less.

* The Ken Davenport Scholarship is for current ARSL members who have been working in the library profession for 6 to 10 years.

* The Angel scholarship is open to current ARSL members who have been working in the library profession for any length of time.

Thanks to fundraising efforts, including donations and Trivia night at the annual conference, TWO Angel Scholarships will be awarded for this year's conference!

If you have any questions about the process or have any trouble with the application form, please do not hesitate to contact me at scholarship at arsl.info<mailto:scholarship at arsl.info>.

Thank you!

ARSL Scholarship Subcommittee
