In addition, we are transitioning from landlines to cell phones for some staff members, resulting in new phone numbers for many staff. The old email addresses will forward to the new addresses for a period of time, but we encourage you to begin using the new email addresses now to avoid issues when the forwarding expires. Landline changes have been effective as of November 16th. Please visit the State Library's Contact Us<https://oregon.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=91dd1172fce9a235a5e993c03&id=7569cbaa82&e=14e6da8535> webpage for the current contact information for all State Library staff members.

OBOB Book Recorded Locally

School-aged users of the Talking Book and Braille Library are going to start having more complete access to the yearly list of OBOB books thanks to our new recording studio! While most of the OBOB titles selected each year appear in the NLS collection of over 100,000 audio and Braille books we can circulate, inevitably there are a couple that don't. This year, though, we were able to locally-record one of the two titles missing from the national collection right here at the State Library using our own recording booth. The book, Before They Were Authors: Famous Writers as Kids, by Elizabeth Haidle, was narrated by our studio manager Joel Henderson, since we cannot allow volunteers into the building at this time. It will also be uploaded to the NLS's BARD download-on-demand service so young readers across the country can have access to it as well. Exciting things are happening at the State Library!

However, before starting this project, we'd like to hear from you about how useful you've found this digital collection. How have you accessed our digital Oregon Voters' Pamphlet<https://oregon.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=91dd1172fce9a235a5e993c03&id=0dce450e03&e=14e6da8535>?

  * Have you ever used this resource to answer a question?
  * Do you find this resource useful?
  * Would you find it useful for the pamphlets of ALL Oregon counties to be included in the collection?
If you have just a moment, could you tell us your story or provide us with some feedback about our collection?
