Hello Oregon Library folks!

Are you working with your peers to provide training to staff at your
library? If so, join the members of the *OLA Staff Training Roundtable and
celebrate your Valentine's Day with a free training this Friday (2/14) from
10am - 12pm. *

*We will have two options to attend:*
- *In-person: * 250 Winter St. NE, Room 103, Salem, Oregon 97301
*-** Virtual: * Join Zoom Meeting https://zoom.us/j/123149911 Meeting ID:
123 149 911

*What is the training about? Who will I hear from?*
*Overview*: Does your library provide training to staff via a SME (subject
matter expert)? Are you looking for more effective ways to get these SMEs
to share their knowledge with other staff? During this 2-hour session, we
will talk about ways to help your colleagues successfully deliver training
to staff. This will be an open session for everyone to come learn about
how to prepare your non-trainer staff for the task ahead. We will have
training experts on hand, and will be learning and sharing best practices,
tips and tricks for helping others succeed.

*Topics include*: presentation and speaking skills (presented by Amy
Honisett), classroom management (presented by Tracey Letmate), and how to
translate your knowledge into learning (presented by Blake Kincaid).

We look forward to seeing you there!
