Job Title: Library Director - Canby Public Library

Description: The City of Canby is looking for a library director responsible for day to day supervision, leadership and management of the Canby Public Library. Summary and job requirements are:  long range planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the library, initiating and implementing policy development, and performing professional library duties.  The director will also develop and coordinate library programs and publicity, partner with other organizations, engage in outreach opportunities, and formulate and maintain the library's budget. The candidate must have experience formulating a budget and the ability to work within a tight budget. Experience in a consortium of libraries of varying sizes is preferred. Experience with bond measures would be beneficial.
