I was actually just researching this same topic and it should be noted that care should be used in operating these devices. UVC light can be harmful <https://hps.org/publicinformation/ate/q9450.html>  to humans and cause skin or eye injuries if not carefully worked with.

We don’t have prior experience, but last week did order multiple UVC units to help combat emerging pathogens.

Our library is wondering if anyone has experience with disinfecting/sanitizing returned books or other items using UV-C light, either with a wand or in a contained unit, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
