The Colorado State Library is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity for the national Research Institute for Public Libraries (RIPL)<http://ala.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT05NjIwNTIzJnA9MSZ1PTExMjE3MzYxMjYmbGk9ODA5NjUyMzI/index.html> virtual event occurring December 14-16, 2020. Ten scholarships covering the $150 registration fee will be awarded to racially and ethnically diverse library workers/LIS students who identify as American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and/or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.

Since 2015, RIPL has provided an immersive, bootcamp-style event for public library staff to learn practical methods for gathering, analyzing, and using data for planning, management, and communicating impact. This year's virtual event will be no different, with interactive sessions that include application and discussion, and opportunities to form connections with other library staff interested in data and evaluation.
