Hello!

Eastern Oregon University (EOU) Library invites applications for a
non-tenure track faculty Instruction and Reference Librarian. We seek a
collaborative, proactive, flexible, and user-focused librarian, with a
demonstrated interest in teaching and learning.

The Instruction and Reference Librarian provides library instruction and
reference services, and has collections management responsibilities. As a
member of the Instruction Team, the Instruction and Reference Librarian
will contribute significantly to the development, teaching, and assessment
of undergraduate face-to-face and online information literacy courses and
initiatives. The librarian will also collaborate with colleagues in and out
of the library to enhance information literacy and research education
through targeted, curricular integration.

Other responsibilities include provision of reference services, liaising
with academic program faculty, and participating in collection development
work within assigned subject areas. The successful candidate will have
opportunities for mentorship and training in job responsibilities, and will
have the opportunity to build skills for leading programs and initiatives.
