Are you a forward-thinking IT leader with a strong knowledge of library
technology systems and a passion for public service? Multnomah County is
currently seeking an effective strategic thinker who is also a practical,
hands-on IT professional.



In this role, you will lead the Multnomah County Library
<https://multcolib.org/>’s technology portfolio to ensure sustainable IT
systems that support the innovative and progressive services we deliver to
the county’s diverse communities in a continuous-learning environment. You
will work collaboratively to plan, define and develop leading-edge
technology solutions that align with patron and staff needs, while
remaining fiscally prudent.



You will use your talent for developing and nurturing strong relationships
to coordinate activities and collaborate with Library staff and County IT
teams; outside agencies and private-service providers to share and exchange
best practices; and manage vendor relationships. You will work closely with
the Library’s Director of Content Strategy to ensure the implementation of
the Library technology vision.

This is a limited-duration opportunity expected to last two years, but may
