ACRL-Oregon recently conducted a survey of the Oregon library community
asking about how our organization could best support them around this
topic. The survey indicated that library personnel were interested in
hearing about advocacy around COVID-related topics done by colleagues (eg.
reopening, budget and staff reductions, etc) and in having an opportunity
to discuss this topic with others. In order to meet this need, we have
arranged a panel and discussion to take place on March 16th from
1:00-2:30pm. Our generous panelists include:

   -

Stephanie Debner, University Librarian, University of Western States
   -

Anne-Marie Deitering, Interim University Librarian, Oregon State
   University
   -

Dan McClure, Library Director, Clatsop Community College
   -

Dale Vidmar, Interim University Librarian, Southern Oregon University

Our panelists will share their experiences doing COVID-related advocacy,
reflect on COVID and academic libraries one year in, and answer questions.
We have allotted an hour and a half for this session to ensure that there
is plenty of time for facilitated discussion where participants can share
their own experiences and reflections.

Registration is open to all, but we are limited to 100 attendees in the
session, so register soon!

register, we will email you a link to the recording after the session.
Questions about our webinars can be directed to ACRL-Oregon President
Rachel Bridgewater at acrlor at olaweb.org.
