Hello California Library Community!

 

So, National Library Outreach Day is April 7th. To celebrate, Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services (ABOS) is presenting a Virtual Bookmobile Parade. How can you participate? Submit photos of your bookmobiles and outreach vans to https://tinyurl.com/y34k6la4 by 5pm CST on March 31st, then follow the parade on social April 7:

As part of the ABOS Membership Committee, I’ve come to notice that California isn’t well-represented. Not that I’m competitive or anything, but the goal for the parade is 200 entries, and I KNOW California can help reach that goal. And while I’ve got you, while not join ABOS? It’s not expensive, holds a great conference, and is adding resources at a breakneck speed.

 

Do you have a bookmobile? Do you do outreach? ABOS is for you. Make me proud, California!
