Hi folks,

There's been one more - and probably the last! - update for library workers and vaccinations: thanks to increased supply of vaccines, the eligibility date for most library workers has been moved up to this upcoming Monday, April 5. You can view the new timeline here<https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le3527A.pdf>. This timeline replace the dates referenced in the email I sent last week (copied below).

Cheers!

** Please forgive cross-postings **

Hi everyone,

Per a recent announcement from the Oregon Health Authority<https://covidblog.oregon.gov/welcome-news-on-vaccine-eligibility-what-you-need-to-know/> (OHA), there's an updated COVID-19 vaccine timeline<https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le3527A.pdf> that means that most library workers will be eligible for vaccinations no later than April 19, 2021, nearly two weeks earlier than the previous eligibility date of May 1.

Here's a breakdown of the updated timeline for eligibility.

  *   March 29, 2021 (Group 6)
     * Adults 45-64 with one or more underlying health conditions with increased risk
     *   Migrant and seasonal farmworkers
     *   Seafood and agricultural workers
     *   Food processing workers
     * People living in low-income senior housing, senior congregate and independent living
     * Individuals experiencing houselessness (sheltered and unsheltered)
     * People currently displaced by wildfires
     *   Wildland firefighters
     * Pregnant people 16 and older
  *   April 19, 2021 (Group 7)
     * Frontline workers as defined by the CDC (which includes public, academic, and county law library workers)
     *   Multigenerational household members
     * Adults 16-44 with one or more underlying health conditions with increased risk
  *   May 1, 2021
     * All people who are 16 and older

Library workers in K-12 schools and early learning facilities are already eligible to receive vaccinations.

Check out OHA's page "How to find a COVID-19 Vaccine in Oregon"<https://govstatus.egov.com/find-covid-19-vaccine> for details on how to receive a vaccine. If you have specific questions about eligibility, we encourage you to contact your local public health agency<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/ph/ProviderPartnerResources/LocalHealthDepartmentResources/Pages/lhd.aspx> or visit OHA's general vaccine website<https://covidvaccine.oregon.gov/>. The Frequently Asked Questions<https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le2390u.pdf> address many issues, including eligibility. More general information about how libraries can respond to the ongoing pandemic can be found on the State Library's COVID-19 information guide<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/coronavirus>. The guide could prove particularly useful as more counties move into lower risk levels.
