Are you excited about connecting community members to their local library? Are you a detail-oriented person who is energized by the idea of coordinating with community organizations and senior living facilities? Are you enthusiastic about engaging and building relationships with adults through programming such as book clubs or computer classes? Are you an outgoing person that enjoys meeting and connecting with new people?

Beaverton City Library is seeking someone to join our team as an Outreach Specialist focused on serving adults. The outreach will mostly be off-site but will occasionally be virtual or hosted at the library. The primary focus of the position is outreach to adults, with two priority areas being adults with low literacy levels including English Language Learners and older adults at long term care facilities in the Beaverton area.

Part-time, 20 hours a week.
