Hi everyone!!

Hillsboro Public Library is happy to announce the launch of our FT Student Success Librarian recruitment. We are seeking an individual who is eager to serve the community and bridge and strengthen the partnership between Hillsboro Public Library and the Hillsboro School District (HSD). This will involve identifying and assessing the needs of all students in the community including HSD, home schoolers, and private schools to support both students and families.

What You'll Do:

  *   Establish strong relationships with HSD stakeholders, including teachers, students, parents, and school administrators.
  *   Collaborate with our dedicated library team to develop engaging events, programs, and services that cater to our community, especially HSD students and families.
  *   Partner with WCCLS in the annual promotion and delivery of the Student Library card.
  *   Lead the development of innovative strategies to enhance our library's services and programs, specifically focused on middle and high school students.
  *   Serve as the content creator for the monthly Student Success newsletter.
  *   Collaborate with our Outreach Coordinator and actively participate in outreach opportunities that showcase library services.
  *   Work closely with your library colleagues to support library patrons and address questions related to student resources available at HPL.
  *   Work in the public service area of the library; delivering exceptional customer service is a foundation of our library's values and mission.
