[Libs-Or] ACRL-OR/WA Joint Fall Conference 24' Student Poster Session Proposals, Call ending soon!

We are excited to announce that we are including a library student worker
poster session at our ACRL-OR/WA Joint Fall Conference

College! Our theme this year is "New Connections" and what better way to
forge new connections in academic librarianship than showcasing all of the
fantastic work student workers contribute to academic libraries in the
OR/WA area! The conference will be held at Reed College on Friday October
25th, 2024 from 8-5pm.

Posters can be from student workers in any library or any library adjacent
department. Topics are open to anything related to work as a library
student worker; projects you are currently working on or have completed,
reflections of your experiences as a library student worker, and anything
else you would like to present from your work tasks and duties. Analog
posters only please, we cannot support digital posters for this session. QR
codes, handouts, and creativity are encouraged alongside your poster!

*The proposal call will be open from 7/16-9/16. *If your poster is
accepted, you will not be charged a conference fee to participate in the
poster session. If you would like to attend the full single day conference,
we are offering a very discounted student worker rate, and also have
scholarships for students unable to pay the conference fee if they wish to
participate! *Presenters will need to arrange transportation for themselves
to and from the conference site, (Performing Arts Building, Reed College).
We welcome students from all around the Washington and Oregon area but we
are unable to provide transportation, or room and board. You will be
responsible for your own accommodations. *
