[Libtech_or] Volunteers Needed - Room Monitors for LibTech RT OLA Conference Sessions

Hello,

The OLA LibTech Roundtable is seeking volunteers for our sponsored events at the OLA 2014 Conference in Salem, OR. What we are in need of are 2 volunteers to work as room monitors during our sponsored sessions on April 17th. This is a great way to get involved at the conference and chat with some of our exciting presenters.

Room monitor duties include:
-Arrive early and stay throughout the session:
-Check the room before the session to make sure tech, water and layout needs are met
-Introduce the speaker
-Take a room count and send to Steve Silver and Judith Marie (will give you their emails) by April 25.
-Distribute and collect any session evaluations for your unit.

If you can help, these are the times and titles of the sessions we could use monitors for:

Morning Session
-Thursday, April 17th, 11-12:30pm "Social Media For Professional Engagement"

Afternoon Session
-Thursday, April 17th, 2-3:30pm "Open Source in Oregon Libraries"
