Oregon organizations are qualified to apply for Oregon Heritage grants to be used for conservation and development of heritage resources. This could include digital projects.

Commission staff recommend that applying organizations for digital organizations meet or exceed the minimum digitization capture recommendations of the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services’s Preservation and Reformatting Section.

Oregon Heritage Grants support projects for the conservation, development and interpretation of Oregon's cultural heritage. Priority will be given to projects that preserve, develop or interpret threatened heritage resources
and/or heritage resources of statewide significance. Generally awards are $3,000‐$20,000.

What other organizations in Washington and Oregon allow grant funds to be used for digital projects? What digitization capture standards do they require?
