Hi everyone,

We are happy to announce that things are getting rolling with the NWA Audio and Moving Image Roundtable that you all showed support for during the annual meeting this year! Our first lunch presentation session is next Monday October 9, at 12 PM (Pacific) and the kickoff presenter is Matthew Cowan, Oregon Historical Society Archivist. Information is as follows:

  *   Topic: The presentation will cover highlights from the Moving Image collection at the Oregon Historical Society - topics include an overview of the collection, cataloging, digitization, licensing, and public programs.

  *   Presenter: Matthew Cowan has been the Moving Images Archivist at OHS since 2013 (as well as the Photography Archivist from 2013-2023). He worked for many years at Anthology Film Archives in NYC. He has an MLIS from Simmons College, a certificate in Moving Image Preservation from the Selznick School at the George Eastman House and is a long-time member of the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA).

  *   Time: Monday October 9, 2023 , 12 pm Pacific
