Hi,

I thought this group might be interested in an intellectual freedom issue in Florida.

“Dixie District Schools Superintendent, Mike Thomas, issued an administrative order that violates the intellectual freedom of students and is in direct violation of the district's own instructional materials policies.” See the Facebook post from the president of the Florida Association of Media in Education for more information. If you click on the comment thread within the post, you can see the directive that the superintendent issued.
