Greetings,

The FCC has announced its new internet rules (which repeal net neutrality) will take effect June 11th. The Senate will most likely vote early next week on whether to block the FCC's new rules. Even if the Senate votes in favor of net neutrality, it is expected the House and President will side with the new FCC rules. The good news? Many states have filed legal challenges against the FCC or are passing their own laws in order to maintain net neutrality: Net neutrality is over. Now California, Oregon are stepping in<https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/2018/04/20/net-neutrality-repeal-prompts-calif-other-states-pursue-their-own-laws/529337002/>.

Learn more about today's update in this Reuters/NY Times report: U.S. 'net neutrality' rules will end on June 11: FCC<https://www.nytimes.com/reuters/2018/05/10/technology/10reuters-usa-internet.html>.
