1.       Last chance to register for the Entrepreneur Development Workshop this Friday, June 8, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Umpqua Business Center, 522 SE Washington, Roseburg. If you haven't done so already, please register for the workshop at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/connecting-with-and-supporting-main-street-entrepreneurs-tickets-45991135725. This is super important because I am confirming our catering numbers w/the DRA board this afternoon.



2.       Excellence in Downtown Revitalization Awards - Reminder: To celebrate achievements in preservation and revitalization in Oregon, Oregon Main Street invites you to submit nominations for our Excellence in Downtown Revitalization Awards. All nominations are due by Thursday, July 26, 2018. The Excellence in Downtown Revitalization Awards is open to all organizations participating in the "Main Street Track" of the Oregon Main Street Network, including Performing Main Street, Transforming Downtown, and Exploring Downtown levels. Attached are copies of the application and the award criteria. Awards will be announced at a special celebration on October 3 in Albany.



3.       Smart Growth America Free Technical Assistance for small-scale manufacturing and entrepreneurs - applications opening on June 5. 4.       Save the Date: We will be hosting our keynote and awards celebration in Albany on Wednesday, October 3. Our keynote speaker is Stephen Green with WeWorks in Portland (see this article for a little info about Stephen: https://www.bizjournals.com/portland/news/2018/01/30/a-well-known-portland-entrepreneur-booster-lands-a.html) . This date will include a tour and presentation by the Downtown Albany Association of their revitalization efforts to date. And, on October 4-5, we will kick off our "Main Street on the Move" best practices bus tour from Albany with stops in Dayton, McMinnville, Woodburn, Vancouver (WA), and Camas (WA). We will have more info soon plus open registration July.
