Dear Summer Reading Key Contacts,

The summer reading manual is now available in different formats. Please read the following information about the new formats and talk with your co-workers to select the format that will meet the needs of your library. Then, fill out this online survey<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2017ORSRPManual> by June 26th to order your free 2017 summer reading manual.

The Oregon State Library will pay for one 2017 summer reading manual per library building and the Oregon Library Association's Children's Services Division (CSD) will pay to ship the 2017 manuals to libraries that don't pick them up at the CSD Fall Workshop. However, the cost of the manuals and shipping has increased so please consider the cost to the State Library and CSD when deciding which format is best for your library. If the most expensive format works best for you, that's totally okay! We just want you to be able to make an informed decision.

All format options include only one copy of the summer reading manual. Each summer reading manual includes the early literacy, children's, teen, and adult sections. Physical formats will continue to be distributed at the CSD Fall Workshop in October 2016 or shipped to you by the end of the year. The online format will be available in spring 2017--no specific date has been set yet.

Your 2017 summer reading manual format options are:

*         Online access to the graphics and one .pdf format of the manual (format costs $8, no shipping cost)

*         One USB with the graphics and one .pdf of the manual (format costs $10, estimated shipping $3.50)

*         One DVD with the graphics and one .pdf of the manual (format costs $10, estimated shipping $3.50)

*         One paper manual and one DVD with the graphics (format costs $20, estimated shipping $8)
