[Or-srp] 2017 summer reading manual update: Good news!

As many of you know, the Collaborative Summer Library Program's (CSLP) 2017 summer reading manuals were delayed. As a result, you have not received your 2017 summer reading manual yet.

Good news:
OLA's Children's Service Division (CSD) received the paper, USB, and DVD formats summer reading manuals!  The CSD Executive Board is currently developing an affordable plan to send them to you. They don't have an estimated date of arrival yet, but will keep you posted.

Great news:

CSLP decided to provide all member libraries that ordered 2017 summer reading manuals (that's you!) access to the online format of the summer reading manual and it's available now! Attached are the instruction for getting your library's "building access code" for the online summer reading manual. If you have questions or problems accessing your online manual, contact the CSLP office at contact at cslpreads.org<mailto:contact at cslpreads.org> or by phone at: 866-657-8556.



Remember, you are the only person at your library receiving this email. If you are not the best person at your library to request your building access code, then please forward this email to that person.

PS for those of you who want background info and like assumptions:

When manuals were ordered this summer it was clearly stated that you would only get one copy of the manual in the format you ordered. I don't know, but suspect that CSLP is providing this additional access to the online manual because 1) the hardcopy shipment was delayed nationwide, and 2) if you try the online version this year and like it, then maybe more of you will order only the online manual in the future. I think it is safe to assume that you won't get free access to the online version again.
