Hello State Reps,

In 2015, CSLP contracted directly with David Mcaulay to create the artwork for the 2017 program year. Because of this, we are the sole copyright holder of the artwork, and have created similar agreements with Brian Pinkney, Leeza Hernandez, LeUyen Pham, and Salina Yoon.

The move from licensing artwork from Demco, to direct ownership has opened new opportunities for us. In order to better take advantage of this development, CSLP is seeking to find a graphic design house to best utilize these art assets. Please read the attached document for details on the scope of the work.

Working with a graphic design house will give us:

  *   A more unified visual theme
  *   Greater creative control
  *   More dynamic program manuals
  *   Access to future opportunities to leverage our properties

The design house will be responsible for creating all of the art assets for the 2020 program year, including the manual, t-shirt designs, and slogans. The company we select will need to be large enough to meet this need.

To help CSLP find the firm that will best meet our needs, we ask that you share the attached Creative Vision Statement with your libraries, or any outstanding graphic design firms you have worked with in the past and would recommend.
