Hello everyone,

Happy Friday! Today's shoutout goes to the 28 libraries who participated in our inaugural Teen Services Grant program this summer<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/ld.php?content_id=63869851>. Libraries did everything from a painting program to STEM incorporation to mental health resource-sharing to long-term community listening projects that will continue long after this particular grant. This morning we had a virtual meetup and it was so joyous to hear from each library about their work. Each project was so unique and just right for each particular community and library team. Thank you all for telling your stories and reminding all of us why we do this work!

I also want to focus internally for a second to shoutout my colleague Tamara Ottum, our Federal Programs & Grants Coordinator, who is working very hard to make sure libraries can use funds in ways that matter across Oregon. Tamara does a lot of behind-the-scenes work to make this all happen and is a great resource for grant questions. I'm feeling so lucky today to be part of this community and want to say thank you to all of you for doing this work with us. We appreciate you. I hope you all have a great weekend.
