State Legislative Agencies rely heavily on the accountable and customer-oriented services provided by Financial Services, a major unit of Legislative Administration.  Financial Services provides accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial management services for Legislative Administration, Legislative Assembly, Legislative Fiscal, Legislative Revenue, Legislative Policy & Research and the Commission on Indian Services.

The Senior Legislative Accountant serves as the "go-to" for all accounting functions within the Branch including:

  *   Preparation of management and financial reports
  *   Developing and initiating procedures on internal controls to safeguard assets
  *   Creating agency procedures
  *   Reconciliation of cash receipts to deposits
  *
If you consider yourself well-versed in governmental accounting practices, have an interest in the Legislative process, and are prepared to lead other Financial Services staff members in the pursuit of excellent customer service, this job might be for you!
