[OYAN] Know someone great who enriched the lives of teen readers in Oregon? Nominate them for the Walt Morey Award!

Literary Arts is seeking nominations for the 2013 Walt Morey Young Readers Literary Legacy Award.



The Walt Morey Award is presented at the annual Oregon Book Awards ceremony to a person or organization in recognition of significant contributions that have enriched Oregon's young reader (children/teens!).  Past recipients include Children's Book Band, Read to the Dogs, and Carol White.



Nominees must be a full-time, living Oregon resident.



Nominators may be any member of the community. There is no nomination fee. The nominator prepares the nomination packet, which should include:

*         a completed nomination guideline and entry form<http://www.literary-arts.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/2013SPECIALAWARDS.pdf>.

*         a minimum of three/maximum of five letters written in support of the nomination.



All nominations must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012.
