[OYAN] Roland Smith: have you heard him speak?

Hello!
DPL is beginning to plan our spring visit with a YA lit author; right now we're curious if anyone has heard Roland Smith speak.  His website shows some photos and whatnot, but we want to be sure he's truly engaging and offers a good experience to a large group.  Let me know if you've heard him speak or have any scurrilous gossip that may sway us in one way or another..
