[OYAN] Funny books

I love reading funny teen books! It's a refreshing break from all the
angst. I can add a few other titles to those MacKenzie suggested.
Although it is a bit old now, I found *There is no Dog* (2012) by Meg
Rosoff to be totally side-splittingly, milk-snortingly, irreverently
funny. I am currently reading *We are All Made of Molecules* (2015) by
Susin Nielsen, and the two main characters are pretty comical. Off the top
of my head, a few other funny teen books I have read in the last couple of
years are *The Awesome* (2015) by Eva Darrows, *OCD, the Dude, and Me*
(2013) by
Lauren Roedy Vaughn, *Nimona* (2015) by Noelle Stevenson, *Supermutant
Magic Academy* (2015) by Jillian Tamaki, *Princeless* (2014--15) by Jeremy
Whitley. and *Hold me Closer: the Tiny Cooper Story* (2015) by David
Levithan. Although technically not YA, *Year Zero* (2012) by Rob Reid
works as a teen read and it's a hoot!
