Hi,
Thanks to Stacey Knibloe, the Gale trainer, for the great job she did on the elementary and secondary STEM webinars. Thanks, too, to Jan Snyder from Oregon City and Miranda Doyle from Lake Oswego for sharing your helpful ideas about how you use Gale content in your school districts.
The webinar recordings are available online. Look for the relevant session under Event Recordings, and click on View. You will be prompted to add your name and email address in case you want an attendance certificate after watching the recording.

If you participated in the live webinar, you can email Stacey (stacey.knibloe at cengage.com<mailto:stacey.knibloe at cengage.com>) to ask for an attendance certificate. If you watch a recorded session, you can ask for a certificate, too.
FYI,

Please pardon the cross—posting.
Hi,
We at the State Library have arranged for a Gale trainer to provide two STEM-focused webinars just for Oregon library staff and teachers. Details are below. Please spread the word, and I hope to “see” you on February 15th or 16th.
Can’t make it? Register anyway, and you’ll be notified directly when the recording is available. Otherwise, look for an announcement about the archived webinar during the third or fourth week of February.
Support STEM with Your OSLIS Gale Resources
STEM is increasingly emphasized as crucial to educational and economic success. With access to STEM-focused eBooks plus databases like Research In Context, Student Resources In Context, and National Geographic Kids through OSLIS, you have some built-in resources to help students explore and learn science concepts. We’ll provide best practices for finding STEM content in multiple Gale databases as well as library and classroom examples you can model. Attend the elementary or secondary focused session (or both) to discover how to use your OSLIS Gale resources to support this critical area! To register, please visit https://cengage.webex.com/cengage/onstage/g.php?PRID=4492898605bf88eb2460c4916589ce8c, click on the webinar title with the appropriate audience focus, and click on Register.
Elementary Resources – Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 3:30 – 4:30 PM Pacific
Secondary Resources – Thursday, February 16, 2017, 3:30 – 4:45 PM Pacific
