Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone happens to have designed any handouts for this year's slate of Mock Printz books. I was going to do a booktalk of the slate early next week and wanted to see if there was anything out there. But I also realize this is rather short notice, so if there isn't I'll make my own

Subject: [OYAN] Mock Printz results, and More!
Hello all you beautiful people! Librarians and teens from across the state gathered last Saturday for another fantastic OYAN Mock Printz Workshop. After hours of polite yet passionate discussion, we settled on a winner. A favorite among teens especially, this book blew us away with its frank and relatable discussion of depression, complicated family dynamics, and the magic of tea. This year's winner of the Oregon Mock Printz Award is:
Darius the Great is Not Okay by Adib Khorram
We also selected some honors:
Dread Nation by Justina Ireland
MunMun by Jesse Andrews
The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo
Don't forget to mark your calendars/set your alarms from the ALA Youth Media Awards<http://ala.unikron.com/> announcements on Monday, January 28 at 8:00 a.m. We always hope that a beloved book from our list will be recognized by the real Printz committee, and we always brainstorm a list of books we may have missed, just to hedge our bets:
Archival Quality by Noelle Ivy Weir and Steenz
Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan
Bingo Love by Franklin Tee
Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who rocked the World by Penelope Baglieu
Cruel Prince by Holly Black
Dream Country by Shannon Gibney
Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
Moonstruck by Grace Ellis, Shae Beagle, and Kat Fajardo
The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang
