Hi Cindy,
I wonder if you know about the oyan listserve? It's for teen-serving librarians and may be a better place to ask questions about teen programming. I'm cc-ing the list above, you can join that listserve here if you'd like: https://www.oregon.gov/library/libraries/Pages/Email-Lists.aspx
Best,
Greta

Hi
Our local libraries are going ahead with the online gaming challenge using the zombie shooting games. If anybody is interested in running a similar program, please feel free to contact me for information. :) Hopefully it will be a success.

Hi
I am the teen librarian in Hermiston and I am wanting to set up an online gaming teen challenge with other libraries near us. I have spoken to the libraries concerned and they are interested in joining in. What I am thinking, is that I chose a free online game that teens have a week to play and then at the end of the week they send in their highest scores and the library represented by that teen, wins. :) I think I have found a free zombie shooting game that could work, but wanted to ask if anyone has done anything similar and could recommend a game or if you think a zombie killing game might be a no go with parents?
Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome.
Thank you in advance
Cindy
