[OYAN] OASL Conference on 10/10: Online, Great Authors, Low Price, Teen Participation

Here's a reminder that the Oregon Association of School Libraries (OASL) Fall Conference<https://sites.google.com/oasl.olaweb.org/oasl2020/home> is happening on October 10th from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Pacific. All library staff are welcome to attend. Busy on the 10th? Recordings will be available for 6 months. Registration<https://sites.google.com/oasl.olaweb.org/oasl2020/registration> is $50 for OASL members and $60 for non-members. This year's conference is full of sessions sure to re-energize an appreciation of literature, equity, and learning!

  *   Trauma Informed Practices with Alfonso Ramirez

  *   Vendor prizes and more!

Student Ticket Perk for Registrants

OASL 2020 registrants can now invite up to seven teens to hear YA Project LIT author Tiffany D. Jackson speak at 10:00 am Pacific on October 10th. This is a free perk for registered attendees, who should complete this form<https://forms.gle/jPYR9DDViXnhojCq8> for teen access.

Access
OASL 2020 meeting links can be accessed multiple ways. Registered attendees will be able to access each session through Sched and/or through the hyperlinked OASL Dashboard document shared with all registered attendees (non-hyperlinked preview below). Attendees are encouraged to join early before the first session they are interested in to have time to resolve any technical difficulties.

This conference is $50 for OASL members and $60 for non-members. All are welcome!

Recorded Sessions

All OASL 2020 sessions will be recorded. Paid attendees will be able to visit and revisit content for 6 months from the date of the conference.

PD Credit

OASL 2020 attendees will be able to request a certificate of attendance for 7 hours of PD credit. Registered attendees will be emailed a certificate request form after the conference commences.
