It might be helpful to know that the application for the K-12 Summer Learning Grant is much simpler than most other grants offered by OCF. For example, the program description is limited to 1,000 characters!

Additionally, there is very minimal reporting expectations, “At the conclusion of the grant, organizations will be asked to participate in a focus group and/or survey to share learnings. No other report will be required.”

If you’re still looking for summer funding, Oregon Community Foundation has opened 2 grant options for community-based organizations – you! - that may be worth looking at – Early Childhood Summer Support and K-12 Learning grant<https://oregoncf.org/grants-and-scholarships/grants/> programs. The Early childhood grant looks pretty flexible, amounts will vary and has a May 25th deadline. The K-12 grant is a rolling application, the minimum grant is $15,000 so would likely work best for larger libraries.
