Mark your calendars for our Fall 2023 Oregon Association of School Libraries Conference at Taft High School in Lincoln City, OR, October 13th & 14th!
· The theme is Literacy's Liferaft, which our school libraries represent for communities across the country.
· Sessions ideas include: professional development around Chat GPT/AI in libraries, EdTech and digital tools for teaching and learning, information literacy and research, media literacy, digital citizenship, Makerspaces/STEAM and the Engineering Design Process, intellectual freedom and book bans, reading engagement, book repair and so much more.  This is a fabulous conference for ALL folx - certified, classified, admin, community members - any grade level, any subject area!
· Authors include some exciting names in YA, middle grade, and picture books - stay tuned!
· The national president of the American Association of School Libraries, Courtney Pentland, will also join us!
Want to lead a session on 3D printing?  Cross-curricular collaboration and engagement with the library?  Banned books class and challenges?  Makerspaces in action?  Using EdTech tools to increase literacy engagement in the classroom?
