[PL-Directors] Survey to determine preference for possible additional databases

Dear Library Directors:
The Oregon State Library Board has asked the Statewide Database Licensing Committee to suggest possible additional databases for the State Library to purchase. The Board is doing fact finding at this point and has not committed to purchasing any additional databases. SDLAC will be making a proposal to the Board this spring and would like your assistance in determining which databases would be of interest to the library community. We have created a survey to gather informaiton on which databases are of interest to the widest range and number of libraries. After the survey is completed we will work with the vendors of the top 5 to gather information from them for our proposal to the Board. The survey is available at:
http://library.state.or.us/services/surveys/survey.php?sid=611 and will be open until January 18th. Please take a moment to complete the survey or pass the survey on to your staff who can complete it most effectively.
