Hello all -
Thanks to everyone for your help with the Digital Inclusion Survey. Our overall response rate is 26%, and they are looking for a higher response rate from city libraries in particular. I have attached a spreadsheet that includes both the original survey sample, and other libraries that may wish to take the survey so you can see if you have done it.
The survey is sponsored by ALA, IMLS, and the Information Policy and Access Center of the University of Maryland.
To see how survey data is utilized for policy efforts, check out http://digitalinclusion.umd.edu. The data is used by many national groups in their work to keep libraries in the front of policy debates such as e-rate and broadband. The data produced by the group is attractive and useful.
If you can, please help and take the survey.
Thank you for your help,
Ann
