Just a final reminder about the number of "Edge" events and opportunities at OLA next week:

Edge "Office Hours"!
The State Library is pleased to announce that there will be a number of opportunities to connect and learn more about the Edge Initiative and the Edge Toolkit at this year's OLA Conference!

Wondering why your library should participate? Wondering how to get started? Wondering what to do now that you have completed the assessment?  Here's your chance to take advantage of in-person, free consulting to get the answers you need! Using the Edge Toolkit to Tell Your Story
On Thursday afternoon, Lourdes Aceves (Senior Program Manager, Edge, Urban Libraries Council) will be presenting, Using the Edge Toolkit to Your Story<https://orlib16.sched.org/event/5l63/using-the-edge-toolkit-to-tell-your-story>, which will explain what the Executive Tools are and how to use them to prepare for meetings with your local elected officials, community leaders, and potential funders. Please join Lourdes and myself at 2:00p in Sisters, Room B at the Riverhouse Convention Center.

Last but not least, please be sure to visit the Edge Initiative booth in the Exhibitors area - Lourdes will be looking forward to meeting and talking with librarians from throughout Oregon and she has swag! :-)
