Hello Oregon public library directors!
If you happened to be among the lucky 25% of public libraries randomly chosen by PLA and the American Institute of Research (AIR) to participate in a national survey of library technology, please consider completing the survey (deadline is this Friday, November 20). More details about previous communications from PLA & AIR are below.
Cheers,

Hello Library Directors,
Some of you may have been recently contacted by the Public Library Association (PLA) and the American Institutes for Research (AIR) to participate in the 2020 Public Library Technology Survey. If you have received the letters and/or emails about the survey, I hope you will make time for the survey before November 20 because your participation will make the results the single best source of information available to describe public library digital inclusion roles to Members of Congress, to the FCC and other federal agencies, and to media. PLA will share the results widely, and participating libraries also will receive a personalized report with key metrics from the survey comparing their library to peers (e.g., similar region, legal basis, and demographics).
About one in four (25%) of public libraries were scientifically sampled for this survey. If you were asked to participate, you would have received one letter from PLA in mid-October and another last week, as well as email messages from "Public Library Association" on 10/15, 10/22, 10/28, 11/19, and you will receive another tomorrow, 11/17.
