Libraries Lead with Digital Skills<http://www.ala.org/pla/initiatives/google/> is an initiative of ALA and PLA, sponsored by Google, to ensure that public libraries across the nation receive ongoing access to free tools and resources to help everyone across America grow their skills, careers, and businesses. Funding is available to support programming, outreach, and education in local communities using the Grow with Google program<https://grow.google/partners/>. The program provides training curricula and resources to address the digital skills gap for small business<https://grow.google/smallbusinesses>, job seekers<https://grow.google/job-seekers/#?modal_active=none>, and more!

Oregon public libraries are now eligible to apply for a $1,000 grant to integrate Grow with Google<https://grow.google/partners/> resources into a new or existing workshop, class, or event. Accepted libraries will receive marketing support, technical guidance, tools and more to help ensure the event's success.

Libraries across the country have used funds to provide job search tools, help formerly incarcerated individuals as well as veterans re-enter the job market with new skills, prep patrons for a G Suite certification exam and assist small business owners expand their reach online.

The application process is easy. Just submit your program or event idea via a simple application<https://airtable.com/shrCliGrSl9g2xV4X>.
