Greetings!

Please pardon if you've already seen this - and please forward to your staff and colleagues as appropriate, thank you!

The State Library is pleased to offer 15 pre-paid registrations to the online Infopeople course: Collection Development Using an EDI Lens<https://infopeople.org/civicrm/event/info?id=1062&reset=1>, from November 1 - 21, 2022.

Applications will be processed on a first come first serve bases for staff that meet the eligibility requirements.

Eligible staff are those who:

  * Have collection development as part of their regular duties OR
  * Have reader's advisory as part of their regular duties
Deadline: Applications will be accepted through noon (12:00p) October 27 or until 15 applications have been processed.
In order to gain the most impact from learning events pre-paid by the State Library, we ask all participants engage fully (attend, participate, discuss and share).

Please note: to complete this course, learners can expect to spend 2½ hours per week, for a total of 7½ course hours. Each week's module contains readings and various options for assignments. Learners can choose the options most relevant to their work and interests. Although learners can work on each module at their own pace, at any hour of the day or night, it is recommended that learners complete each week's work within that week to stay in sync with other participants. If you are unable to agree to this, please be kind and leave a seat or place for someone else.

Participants should plan to attend a follow-up Zoom meeting hosted by Darci Hanning (CE Coordinator) on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 10:00a - 11:00a.

Participants are required to complete coursework and submit the Certificate of Completion to the State Library. Failure to do so without notifying the State Library before the end of the course may impact participants' eligibility in future State Library sponsored events paid for by the State Library.
